Overview

If you’re upgrading from version 5.0 or lower and use nominations, you’ll need to perform additional configurations to display the nomination details.

New installations on version 5.1 and later do not require these steps.

Contact and Lead Pages

Enable the related list “Nomination Requests” on the Contact, Lead, and Cvent Event page. For Salesforce Classic, add the Nominate button on the Contact, Lead, and Event layouts for the desired user profile.

Nomination Page - Comments

If the nomination comments aren’t already visible on the nomination page, follow these steps to update the Nomination page layout.

Go to Setup > Object Manager > Nomination > Page Layouts and select the desired layout to customize.

Rename the “Comment” section to “Comments” and add the “Approver Comment” field by dragging it from the top into the section.

Go to the “Nominations” tab and add the “Approver Comment” field to the desired list view.

Nomination Page: Invitation Details

To view the invitation preferences of a nomination request, follow these steps to update the Nomination page layout.

Go to Setup > Object Manager > Nomination > Page Layouts and select the desired layout to customize.

Add a new section by dragging it from the top and then name it “Invitation Details”.

Add the “Send Invite On Approve”, “Invitation Email/List”, and “Send Invite On Behalf Of Requester” fields by dragging them from the top into the section.
