Overview#
Cvent’s REST APIs allow you to develop solutions to extend the Cvent platform or integrate Cvent data with your organization's existing systems. Every account has access to the Essentials Tier of Cvent’s REST API, which allows for 1,000 calls per day. To upgrade your usage plan, contact your Cvent representative.
Getting Started#
To start using the REST APIs, a Cvent account user must invite developers to the account. Developers can then sign in and start creating applications.
If you are a planner or account administrator, please start by inviting your developers.
If you are a developer, please request an invitation from your organization’s Cvent administrator and view the developer quickstart.

API Updates#
To stay updated on API changes, refer to the REST API Changelog.
Recieve notifications of updates with your Cvent integrations by configuring integration contacts:
- Navigate to Admin > Integrations > Integration Contacts.
- Subscribe account users and non-account users to receive notifications when new features are added.
